Ernest Stelzer Scholarship

The Ernest Stelzer Scholarship is given in memory of the former Springfield Police Chief. It is awarded to a student enrolled in Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice who is a Springfield resident or a member of the Springfield Police Department taking law enforcement courses.

In order to qualify for this scholarship you must meet ALL of the following requirements:

  • Current GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0.
  • Student must have financial need.
  • Major/Program of Study must include Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice.
  • Number of Credits Enrolled In’ must be greater than or equal to 6.
