Dan Barry Memorial Scholarship

STCC lost an irreplaceable teacher, mentor, and friend when Landscape Design Professor Dan Barry passed away in 2003. For 35 years, Dan’s enthusiasm resonated with students of all abilities that inspired many of his students to be successful in our community. Dan’s students, friends, and colleagues have generously provided this scholarship to be shared with a Landscape program student whose character and enthusiasm to overcome challenges have earned them the highest respect from the students and faculty of the Landscape Design and Management Department.

Criteria: Candidates will have expressed outstanding character and interest in helping fellow students to learn. Candidates need to have completed two semesters within the landscape department at STCC. Scholarship amount is $250.

In order to qualify for this scholarship you must meet ALL of the following requirements:

• Major/Program of Study’ must include Landscape Design and Management Technology or Landscape Design and Management.
