Order Sons of Italy in America Scholarship

The members of the Sons of Italy in America, Springfield Amerita Mixed Lodge No. 379 established a scholarship fund at Springfield Technical Community College whose purpose is to assist students each year to attain their lifetime goals. The Order selected STCC because many of their members graduated from STCC over the years and credit the College for giving them a good start in life. They hope that this scholarship will also help the City grow and develop by having the scholarship recipients work and raise a family in the area.

In order to qualify for this scholarship you must meet ALL of the following requirements:

  • Must be of Italian descent and/or taking (have taken) an Italian language course at STCC.
  • Current GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0.
  • Number of Credits Completed must be greater than or equal to 15.
  • Submit a letter of recommendation.
