The Grandparents TBMJMKWD Scholarship

Dr. Kevin Hinchey and his family established the Grandparents TBMJ Scholarship Fund at STCC in honor of the Hinchey children’s grandparents Tom, Betty, Marlene, and Joe. The scholarship will award funding of up to $1,000 per year to STCC student(s) enrolled in a healthcare related program.

In order to qualify for this scholarship you must meet ALL of the following requirements:

• Applicant must be enrolled full-time at STCC.
• Current GPA must be greater than or equal to 2.5.
• Applicant should be a returning student who has completed 12.0 credits or more.
• Applicant shall provide a letter of recommendation from a faculty member in their program or from an employer if they are presently working in healthcare.
• Applicants must submit an essay on why they chose to study healthcare and the impact it has had on their life.
