Sheila M. Bowler Scholarship

This scholarship honors the memory of Sheila M. Bowler, a retired Allied Health professor, who taught for twenty years in this program at STCC. Sheila exhibited tremendous gentleness, compassion and caring throughout her professional life. It is our hope that this gift will help to perpetuate these qualities while assisting students who share her passion for the field of Allied Health.

*A letter of endorsement from a faculty/staff member of STCC Allied Heath Department is required. *

In order to qualify for this scholarship you must meet ALL of the following requirements:

• Current GPA must be greater than or equal to 2.0.
• Major/Program of Study must include Allied Health-General, Surgical Technology, Respiratory Care, Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Nursing, Medical Office Administrative Assistant, Medical Coding and Billing Specialist, Medical Assistant, Massage Therapy, Health Aide, Health Information Technology, Dental Hygiene, Diagnostic Medical Imaging, Dental Assistant, Cosmetology or Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Student Status must include Returning student or Other.
• Student must be finishing their first year at STCC.
